DESCRIPTION FOR POSITION OF PROJECT MANAGER BASED IN JUBA AND RENK COUNTIES
Job Title: WASH OFFICER ( 1 Position) Departmen Program Directly reports Executive Director Hourse: 40 hours per week JOb Status : Full times Duty station 50 Reok and so Juha\ Project Duration 6month Opening Date 6th Novermber 2023 Closing Date 24 Novermber 2023 Starting date ASAP
SCOPE OF WORK
The post holder is responsible to implement WASH activities at the response words as well as luising with local government, field office seam and WASH cluster forums where Emergency project is operational
The WASH officet in also responsible to ensuring that the WASII humanitarian needs and gaps are properly assessed in full consultation with WASH coonfinators and field office managers and proposed WASH interventions such as, preventions and controlling WASH actions like water trucking operation, WASH non-food item (NFI) distribution, water treatment chemicals, rehabilitate/maintenance, leading the preparation of WASH integrated response plans and provide technical support on Hygiene and Sanitation promotion activit Choleta/AWD prevention and preparedness actions, preparing water trucking, installation and modalities according to NFT distriction the modalalities accounting to the project objective and in line with cluster standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and/or facilitate integrated/joint institution and community WASH resource and capacity asscessories
including feasibility study
Prioritize frenation of WASH committees and undertake community meeting
Monitor and supervise da to dar sins of Higiene and sanitation pronvitin echasilnarion/maintenance

Participate Proiect level WASH y plan and even
In collaboration with Health and other staff will lead WASH NIT dombotic planing, targeting distribution and thonitoring of the activin

REQUIREMENTS
Degree/Diplana in WASH related rodes (public health, water and sanitation, enceting environmental health
A minimum of 2 years wlated work esperiesice in the anos of enactpency WASH out of swhich at least 2 years' experience in homnitarian t
Experience: in working Inakding and coordination Excellent understanding of Emergency WASH issues in South Sudan at both field and policy levels.
Experience in implementing Emergency WASH project. Good presentation, training and facilitation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to train and mentor staff Proven ability to manage a complex and demanding workload
Excellent communication skills with good spoken and written English and experience in report writing
