DESCRIPTION FOR POSITION OF PROJECT MANAGER BASED IN JUBA AND RENK COUNTIES
Job Title: Project Manager (1 position) Departmen Management Directly reports Executive Director Hourse: 40 hours per week JOb Status : Full times Duty station 50 Reok and so Juha\ Project Duration 6month Opening Date 6th Novermber 2023 Closing Date 24 Novermber 2023 Starting date ASAP
SCOPE OF WORK
The project manager will be responible for planning and overseeing of the Emergency WASH and Protection Response project for Refugees and Returnees in Renk County of South Sudan under TCF from the initial ideation through to completion. They will coordinane with Renk County Authorities, Communities and implementing partners to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cultivate strong working relationships with key TCF staff, strategic partners, and participating communities
Engageis listening sessions with key communities and use this information to inform planning, prioritizing
measuring, and learning processes
Together with key staff, develop and document a logic model and detailed work plannene pre
activities achieve intended effects
Implement perject activities with the support of other staff, including preparation and purchasing of physical
goods, development of health and education materials, particularly those focused on emergency response and
preparedoes, and key referral was in diverse languages
Develop and complete we mputing ack project activities and outcomes and lead development of project Develop
system to tmack disbursements of vouchery and is kind donations tos minimire duplication ace portset enities.
Work clock with the Finance Manager to manage avand and mack expendentes Support and supervise staff
providing oureach and navigation to direct
Develop project statas and stem ирети
REQUIREMENTS
The project manager sould have at least 3 years of work experience in planning, management, administration
and implementation of rural livelihood improvement or rural development in emergency set up
He/she should have at least a minimal of a Degree in social works, Rural development, public administration, public health or any other related field.
Post qualification in project management will be an added advantage.
Demonstrated knowledge and connection to drone local communities, including refugee and immigrant commemmanities.
Esperience un rapidly and successfully toeddiring work plans, anchading recruiting and training staff.
Familarity with mominning aral evaluatives of public health or social service programming
Experience in managing budgets
Demonstrated understanding of and commiment to addressing disparities
Confiar in the use of trauma informed approaches.
Excellent commuttucanon and computer skills.
Supervisory esperience in health, social service, et education programming is prefcered
Bilingual perferred (please list any language skille sequinned one/C3)
